I made this for a now-defunct competition called Indie Kombat, in which two developers compete head to head to create games based loosely on elements of the others’ work. My opponent was my good friend Andrew Brophy, who I went on to defeat. In it, you play as a fallen angel and explore a vast cave system, slowly building your power so that you can escape to the surface.
A year later, it was adapted to Flash by PickleMan. Difficulty was balanced and background art upgraded. There was much rejoicing.
