Links & Things
A musical adventure where you use singing to save the world! Play as a silly bard who embarks on a globe-trotting journey to learn about the mysterious Earthsong, said to be able to prevent the universe's imminent end. Along the way there's a huge cast of characters to meet, puzzles to solve and songs to sing!
In Wandersong you're a walking musical instrument, and you use song to interact with everything. Different things respond to your music in different ways, so it's up to you to sing your songs, unlock the world's secrets and make new friends!
A roguelite deckbuilding adventure game about magical coins. You play as a lootmancer, who can unlock the hidden power inside of coins and use them in magical duels. The loots you take from chests and enemies also become your next moves, so plan carefully!
Super Goo Goo
Fling a ball of goo around a big open world and find stars! I made every part of this game, including audio & music, in one intense week. Then I spent a 2nd week on it and released it on Steam to see if I could. Turns out, I could!
A soothing, infinite puzzle game about cutting shapes
The year is 201X and Owl Creek, a small suburban neighborhood, has suddenly been overrun with ghosts. Four local kids, wielding weapons found in their homes and assisted by spirits of their ancestors, go on a suburban adventure to fight them.
A mobile action game where you use a slingshot to fight through waves of enemies. I developed this game in collaboration with YoyoGames when they were promoting Game Maker's move to mobile. I self-published a sequel in later years called "Sling It!". The game has nearly been lost to OS updates and ownership changeovers, but it was pretty sweet back in the day.
Crazy Over Goo
A silly game about flinging a ball of goo around. Very squishy, sticky, lighthearted gameplay. Later on, I worked with Kristian Macanga to make a more robust port of it to Flash.
Escape from the Underworld
A metroidvania where you have to escape the underworld. Short and sweet, with some creative strytelling. I made this game in a month for a contest against my friend Andrew Brophy.
"A mouse-controlled RPG adventure game featuring pirates on a quest for the greatest treasure known to man! An epic adventure that takes 6-8 hours to complete with tons of extra content and gameplay reminiscent of great RPG classics like Chrono Trigger, Pokemon, and the Mario RPGs but with plenty of original twists."
"A collaboration with Andrew Brophy for YoYoGames Comp 05, CowboyKilla is an action-packed platformer with a variety of worlds in which the goal is to cause untold carnage within a given time limit. Battle a wide variety of enemies such as ninjas, robots, zombies, unicorns and more with weapons like the katana, shotgun, chainsaw, kitten cannon, flamethrower, etc."
"A plot-centric game that combines flashy sword combat with platforming levels. Includes crazy boss fights and tons of unlockables. Play as Blue, the cocksure government assassin as he takes out threats to his boss regime while questioning his justifications for murder."
